Michael Packard, elected to PGA membership in 2006, worked as an assistant golf professional and head professional in the Burlington, Vermont area for more than eight seasons.
In 2004, Packard was hired as Tournaments and Player Development Director for the Connecticut PGA Section. After four years with the Connecticut PGA Section, Packard joined the PGA of America Employment Services Department, helping to pilot the Member Support Specialist (MSS) Program for the New England PGA Section. This program was designed to foster member awareness in various Association programs such as PGA PerformanceTrak and Play Golf America. Packard became a PGA Employment Consultant in the fall of 2009.
Packard graduated from the University of Vermont in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
