Linda Travers, Wife of PGA Professional Bob Travers, Has Passed Away
The New England PGA is sad to share the news that Linda Travers passed away yesterday after a short illness.
TRAVERS, Linda (Stimpert) of Walpole, July 28, age 64. Beloved wife of Robert F. Travers (PGA) of 42 years. Cherished daughter of Barbara and the late Laverne (Stimpert) of Sandwich. Devoted mother of Bob Travers, Jr. of Sandwich and Lisa Marie Jones and her husband Robert of Beverly. Loving "Manna" of Devyn and Zachary Jones. Cherished sister of Robert Stimpert and his wife Phyllis of Idaho. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 4-8 at the Alexander F. Thomas & Sons Funeral Home, 45 Common Street, WALPOLE. Relatives and friends invited.
