Brian Bain Selected as PGA Player Development Regional Manager

PGA of America Creates New Positions in the Field to Help Grow the Game

As a major component of the new Golf 2.0 initiative to grow the game of golf, The PGA of America has hired four new PGA Player Development Regional Managers in strategic markets across the country. NEPGA Professional Brian Bain has accepted the PGA Player Development Regional Manager position serving the Boston region. Bain will be working on implementing strategies, initiatives, and programs to expand the reach of golf among current and potential players.

Rich Berberian Jr. & Rob Corcoran, PGA win the 2012 New England PGA Winter Pro-Pro

Congratulations to the team of Rich Berberian Jr., Hoodkroft Country Club, and Rob Corcoran, PGA, Poxabogue Golf Center for winning the 2012 New England PGA Winter Pro-Pro at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL on January 29, 2012. This event marks the 12^th year of the NEPGA Winter Pro-Pro and always provides great fun for all of those involved.

The team shot a 9-under par 63 on PGA Golf Club’s Wannamaker Course to win by two shots over the teams of Brent Amaral, PGA (Acoaxet) & Jason Malcom, PGA (Winchester CC) and Shawn Warren (Falmouth CC) & Jason Parajeckas (Pleasant Valley CC) who shot a 7-under par 65.
